Dr. Amey Severson grew up in Kentucky. She received her BA in biology and graduated from Transylvania University in 1995. She then entered the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry and graduated in the spring of 1999. Dr. Amey knew that the dental care of children was her passion and was so excited to enter the University of Kentucky Pediatric Dentistry Residency program in after dental school. In the summer of 2001 she completed her pediatric training. Since graduating from residency, she has been treating the dental needs of children.

Dr. Amey married a Minnesotan and moved to the Twin Cities four years ago. It was a tough decision to leave her family and friends, but the people and places of Minnesota have made the move much easier. She has happily settled in to life in Minnesota and lives in Apple Valley with her husband and their two cats. She feels both blessed and privileged to be able to take part in the growth, development, and health of her patients.
